You need memcached installed.

Then fire it up as:

memcached -vv

This will show you march accesses as they occur.

Ok, that is being caused by having no memcached running on your machine.

It looks like you are on OSX? (a fine choice!)

The best bet for running memcached on OSX is using macports - it's
been a while since I installed it though - so I don't recall any
specific issues with installation.

Also note - I pushed quite a few changes in over the last few days so
you should pull sooner rather than later. I also upgraded to Rails
2.3.2
